Mark Camp, named Bard of the Cornish Gorsedh on September 2025!

Mark Camp, an award-winning tour guide has been named Bard of the Cornish Gorsedh in September 2025. Known for his passion for history, he has authored nine books on walking in Cornwall and has received recognition for his contributions to Cornish tourism. Mark remains actively involved in the community, leading walks and presentations continuing his research.

A very Cornish affair as short film shoots in actor's home town of Looe

Looe-born actor Joshua J Parker — once a pupil of the much-loved drama teacher Val Cottrell — is making waves on screen, appearing alongside Oscar winner Cillian Murphy in Netflix’s Steve.

 

His own film about Looe will premiere at the Cornwall Film Festival on November 20.
